What the Russian Lips Technique is all about
With Russian Lips, the filler is placed vertically from the lip contour inward instead of distributing the volume evenly. The goal is a heart-shaped lip that is emphasized from the front and projects less in profile. The technique often requires more material and sometimes places it very superficially, outside the natural lip structure. This is precisely the critical point: if the border between the red of the lip and the white roll is pierced, the filler can migrate more easily (filler migration) and shift over time into the area above the lip. At NOE clinics, we stand for natural results and therefore deliberately do not offer this technique. Instead, for beautifully defined, natural lips, we recommend the Swedish-Lips technique or the classic Lip injection.
