The Hollywood peel involves applying a fine layer of liquid carbon onto the skin, which penetrates into the pores and the upper layers of the skin. The laser detects the carbon and blasts it out along with sebum, dead cells, and dirt from the pores. At the same time, the heat gently stimulates collagen formation.
