Bunny lines are the slanting creases that appear on the upper nasal bridge when laughing or wrinkling the nose. They are caused by the small nasal muscle (musculus nasalis) and often do not become noticeable until the frown line has already been treated and the facial expression has shifted there. Our doctors use very small amounts of botulinum toxin (commonly known as Botox) to treat these lines, so that the creases recede and your facial expression remains natural. The treatment only takes a few minutes and is virtually painless. Often we treat bunny lines together with the Frown line, so that the upper face appears calm as a unit.
